Kassie started working for Big Trees Nursery in the summer of 2002. As a young Southern Utah University student studying business and botany, this summer job between classes was a perfect match. After graduating from SUU Kassie was promoted to general manager, and in 2007 took over full ownership.

“It was a scary thing, buying the nursery and becoming owner,” Kassie says about her decision to take over Big Trees Nursery. “We knew we would never be the biggest nursery in southern Utah, but we knew we could be the best. So we try and provide the highest quality plant material and best customer service in southern Utah, and we love what we do!”
